Thank you for stopping by and visiting InstaPurr Cats. Let me take a few moments and tell you a little something about us.

My husband Barry and I registered InstaPurr in 1980 and became involved with the beautiful Himalayan. We had the wonderful good fortune to have had many Grand Champions, regional and national award winners. Because of my love of the cat fancy I progressed into the judging program and have been an Allbreed judge for many years. Our daughter Samantha has become a Specialty Judge within A.A.C.E.

After an absence from the fancy of seven years we returned and became involved with the Exotic Shorthair and Longhair.

We did intensive searching to provide the finest lines that will produce the “InstaPurr” look and purrsonality. Our searchhad us importing some of our lines from Russia and Netherlands.

We are small in number so that we can provide one-on-one care and attention to each cat and kitten. Our cats live in our cageless home in the mountains of North Carolina and are part of our family. We breed only PKD negative cats. We feel that experience does count when looking for a reputable breeder. We are vet inspected and a current "CFA Cattery of Excellence".

We are now happy to be headed in a new direction for our Exotics..  We are extending our Bicolor program to include odd eyes. Let me introduce "Monopoly" our new odd eye van, Persian male and "Midas Inhergenes" our new calico that carries the odd eye gene. We are looking forward to an exciting new direction.

We sell only to responsible pet owners and reputable breeders with a serious breeding program. All kittens, whether they be pet or show quality, are placed only in the finest homes. Our kittens are sold with a strict contract to help ensure “forever” families. They are sold at 12-16 weeks of age and our pet quality kittens MUST be altered within 6 months from date of purchase. We retain the right to refuse sale to anyone for any reason.
